Description
An Outside Chance is a personal account of ten years in the sporting life. Its eighteen essays range from hunting, fishing, and sailing, to cowboying — roping steers and riding cutting horses — and encompass the author’s family, small streams in Michigan, bird dogs, motorcycles, rodeo friends, oceans, mountains, life under older skies, and the conviction that everyone needs a vacation.
Thomas McGuane was born in Wyandotte, Michigan, and attended both the University of Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University.
This is a first edition, signed copy of the book, in great condition. There’s a small ding on the front — see the close-up photo in the gallery. But other than that, it’s very clean and looks great. Please contact us with any questions, or if you’d like to request additional photos of this book.
