Description
To show the experience of English, Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish, and Canadian immigrants in the United States from 1790 until 1950, Berthoff investigated almost every facet of their life in the New World, from cricket and Welsh choirs to the “Molly Maguires” and Scotch whiskey.
This is a first edition hardback copy of the book in very good condition. There is some discoloration and chipping to the dust jacket, as you can see in the photos. The previous owner wrote their name on the inside. But other than that, it’s in great shape.
